Make Money With AI: A Realistic First 30 Days (Not a Screenshot of Someone Else's)

If your first 30 days don't look like a screenshot, that doesn't mean you're doing it wrong. It means the screenshot was the exception, not the pace.

Week 1 — Pick one skill, not five

CSV cleaning, meeting notes, a niche research agent — pick the one you'd actually use yourself weekly. You will build a worse version of it five times before it's good, and that's fine if you only pick one.

Week 2 — Use it on your own work, for free, first

Before you try to sell it, run it on your own real tasks for a week. Every bug you hit is a bug a paying customer would have hit instead, and it's much cheaper to find it now.

Week 3 — Give it away to five people

Not a sales pitch — an honest "I built this, want to try it, tell me what breaks." The feedback from five real users is worth more than a week of solo polishing.

Week 4 — List it, expect it to be quiet

A free listing in a marketplace, a $19 template on Gumroad — whatever the format, the first week of a real listing is usually quiet. That's the market taking its time to find it, not a verdict on the work.
